Miscoe Hill Chorus

Miscoe Hill Chorus is a full-year elective open to all students regardless of prior singing experience. Each grade level (5th through 8th grade) has its own choral ensemble. Each ensemble performs in various concerts throughout the school year.

The Miscoe Hill Chorus program strives to educate and immerse students in a diverse range of choral repertoire while helping students navigate the challenges of the adolescent changing voice. Students will focus on developing their music literacy skills, vocal technique, social-emotional skills, and performance practice. Students will have the opportunity to further these skills outside of regular instruction and performances by participating in workshops, auditions, festivals, field trips, and by working with guest musicians and educators.

Students may enroll in BOTH Miscoe Hill Chorus and Miscoe Hill Band, but this will limit  student non-musical electives.
